SUMMARY

Regional Vice President of Marketingworks with executive directors and community representativesof the residence, and in conjunction with corporate team, in overall marketing and strategic planning program implementation development to market residences to the community and enhance their living environments.

Legal Requirements

Employees in this position must successfully pass all governmental and corporate required background investigations, such as, but not limited to, state required criminal history clearance investigations.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Must have a keen understanding of the seniors' market.
  • Flexibility in working hours to meet Residence and organizational needs.
  • Must be proactive, self-disciplined and able to demonstrate a high level of productivity.
  • Must have a high degree of interpersonal skill which would enable the incumbent to deal successfully with clients, residential community and agency contacts.
  • Be able to secure the cooperation of others, and be willing to cooperate with other personnel with the ability to lead and take direction.
  • Direct knowledge of marketing sales techniques.
  • Develop marketing strategies and implementation of marketing program to keep residences full and to establish each residence and Revera Assisted Livingrelated entities as the leader in assisted living, residential care, retirement living and Alzheimer’s settings.
  • Work with executive directors & community representatives to develop marketing plans that fulfill marketing objectives.
  • Compile competitive information to maintain leadership position and competitive advantage.
  • Provide feedback and support to executive directors and community representatives to assist with their marketing programs.
  • Oversee corporate and residence marketing budgets.
  • Review and create all ad copy, yellow pages,advertising campaigns, promotional events and marketing materials to ensure appropriateness and consistency.
  • Research and hire appropriate staff and vendors for marketing needs.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of marketing programs and make appropriate adjustments.
  • Train and overseeall aspects of the Lifestyles Rewards Program
  • Participation in the interviewing and selection of community representatives.
  • Provide orientation and ongoing training with the community representatives in all aspects of their job.
  • Select products, design and review all plans for Interior Designs before implementation.
  • Hire and set up Mystery Shoppers two times a year, go over results with executive directors.
  • Working collaboratively with asset management, recommends capital improvements for each residence. Support executive directors with capital expenditures.
  • Must plan for and be available for frequent travel.
  • Participate in quest reviews of facilities as needed.
  • Other duties as may be assigned by the VP of Operations.
  • Prepare marketing reports for VP, Operations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Current Oregon Drivers License. Proof of insurance on his/her personal vehicle is required, if used for business purposes.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

A Management and Marketing background in administration of senior housing, assisted living or residential care and/or other health related field.

Knowledge of state residential care rules and regulations.

Knowledge of the facility policies and procedures.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Knowledge and proficiency in data entry/extraction.

Must complete ALF/RCF 40 hours of Division-approved training program.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze and interpret journals, financial reports and legal documents. Must demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Must have a valid driver’s license. Must have completed the Oregon Assisted Living Management Training Program.

Other Skills and Abilities

Must be able to work with computers and various software application programs
