FTP Site Login Request and Usage Policy

This form should be completed by the person(s) that will be using the FTP service provided by CDG in conjunction with their product support representative. Please emailcompleted form to the CDG Systems Administration for account creation: .

Notes:

  • This FTP site is provided as a convenience for customers and business associates of CDG to facilitate the transmission of data to and/or from CDG. Usage of this site for any other reason is strictly prohibited.
  • Anonymous logins to site are not allowed.
  • Internet connections will use the site name ftp.cdg.ws or IP address 12.31.127.131. Please use the domain name because IP address changes are possible and may not be communicated to users connecting through the Internet.
  • Dedicated circuit connections will use the IP address 64.53.53.65 unless otherwise instructed.
  • Connections to the server will be limited to the Internet routable IP addresses given to CDG by the customer.
  • Bill Data Tape (BDT)Files will be automatically removed after 15 days. CDG will provide email notification as files are loaded to FTP site. Please ensure that files are retrieved within that time frame.
  • The CDG product support representative will contact customerdirectly with password / login information, upon account creation. Passwords are not provided via email, so please provide accurate contact telephone numbers.
  • Logins / passwords are case-sensitive. Ensure you are using the correct case and that a 0 is not substituted for an O.
  • Customers will need to securean FTP software client to access this site, CDG does not provide.
  • Customer s will also need to obtain the appropriate software to process the BDT file.
  • The server supports both standard FTP and encrypted FTPS (FTP using SSL) connections and we strongly encourage the use of FTPS. SFTP (FTP using SSH) and implicit SSL connections are not supported.
  • CDG does not endorse or provide support for any FTP client software packages
  • All questions should be directed to the CDG product support representative.
