SAMPLE PROGRAM EQUIPMENT LIST

This list identifies sample minimum supplies, equipment, and materials that are required to conduct an 80-hour POST-certified and EMSA approved tactical medicine training program for a maximum of 54 students

This sample list should be considered when planning and organizing a training course. Quantities and brands are left to the discretion of the tactical medicine training program director. POST and EMSA do not endorse any specific brand of equipment.

CLASSROOM EQUIPMENT

The classroom should be able to accommodate a maximum of 54 students, instructors, instructional equipment and have audio visual and computer-based projection equipment capabilities.

Range facilities are needed to accommodate a maximum of 54 students and 12 instructors. It is strongly recommended that there be a minimum of four (4) separate sub ranges available to provide ample training for at least five multiple training events.

A suitable, realistic location for tactical medical scenarios should be available for both day time and night time scenario training and testing. These locations may be old hotels, apartment complexes, closed businesses,mall style complexes; warehouses etc. that can be used for training and that will not conflict or interfere with tactical scenario training.
