Game of the Week –Tropics over Terminators (49-47)
Wow, for the second week in a row, the Tropics hit buzzer beaters to win in exciting fashion to get to a perfect 2-0 and the top of B Division! Last week it was Josh Kirk and this week it was Clay Trivett. As the seconds wound down, Clay took the ball, and literally just beat the buzzer to get the shot off. As the buzzer was sounding, the ball swished through the hoop, and mayhem ensued! “We didn’t think we would equal the excitement from last-week’s buzzer beater for a long time, and lo-and-behold, we do it the very next week!” stated an excited coach Mike Lebowitz.
