2. Well, the Quarters are over and we did have some big upsets! One occurred in the A/B Division, where #8 seed Killers (no surprise with the name!) knocked off #1 seed Borg with a great 52-46 effort! Congrats to Dick and his Killers, as they are fast becoming known as a mediocre regular season team that always come up big in the Playoffs!
3. The other big upset was in the B Division, where the #7 seed WolfTrappers took cared of #2 Comanche 44-32. We knew the Trappers have the talent, belying their 1-6 record, and they certainly proved it in this game!
4. Questions for the Semis:
Men:
· Ninja vs. Sharks – Will the Sharks take down the mighty Ninja?! They certainly have the potential, particularly with Bash and Zeus back together!
· LittleLeaguers vs. Money – All eyes on Crowder! Will his injury prove nagging and will the triple-team be successful?!
· FullThrottle vs. K9s – will anyone stop the juggernaut FullThrottle?!
· KodeRed vs. Unstoppable – great matchup!
· Killers vs. StrongArms – StrongArms must be concerned with this game because the Killers upset them last season in a similar high vs. low seed. Can Jeff and his StrongArms avoid a historical repeat?!
· CACI vs. GroundHogs – another intriguing matchup with corporate CACI playing very well this season, but facing a tough GroundHog team!
· MegaMind vs. Thangs – Can anyone stop MegaMind?!
· WolfTrappers vs. HoundDogs – if the WolfTrappers can continue their strong run, HoundDogs may be in for a tight game!
· Isotopes vs. Speed – Isotopes look to be the team to beat in 19+
· RunTNC vs. Tridents – its rookie vs. veteran team in this matchup!
Ladies:
· Oreos vs. Vipers – all we can say is WOW! Oreos look unbeatable, but the Vipers dispatched a very tough Angels squad earlier…look for fireworks in this game!
· Saints vs. Lightning – another rookie vs. veteran matchup – can Lightning rise to the occasion once again, or will the new Saints team be too motivated to show what they have?!

Game of the Week – Sharks vs. Elders
It took the Sharks a double OT and long bank shot to defeat the venerable Elders, who always come to play! Bash banged home 17, while Carter of the Elders led all scorers with a massive 30. Rice was no slouch, tossing in 25 in the heartbreaking loss.
Men’s Legend of the Week –Jim Folliard (StrongArms)
Zephyrs had no answer from Folliard, who scored a massive 26 points to lead his StrongArms into the semis!
Lady Legend of the Week –Casey Quigley (Vipers)
Casey was absolutely on her game, pouring in 25 to carry the Vipers on her back over the always tough Angels right into the semis!

1) Eakin from Isotopes went for 23!
2) Hinz powered MegaMind with 21.
3) Matthews continues his incredible scoring production, this time with 32 to lead Speed to victory.
4) Tyson of HoundDogs continues assault on opponents with 20 to get to the semis.
5) Beville with 16 comes up big in quarters!
6) Lightning’s Johnson gets 30 of team’s 44!
7) White of Saints steps up with 23 in victory!
