Speech Team is aclub for students who love public speaking. You will practice, perfect and perform a variety of speech styles. There will be an interest meeting for6th Gradersinterested in joining speech team at11:30, during the last 10 minutes of lunch,onMonday, October 5. Plan to come toroom B1, right next to theArt roomand bring a friend.
The Tiger Market will be opened for business on Tuesday October 6th. The Tiger Market is Columbia’s school store where you can purchase all of your school supplies and apparel. The Tiger Market will be opened every Day 3 during 6th grade lunch and every Day 4 during 7th & 8th grade lunch.
If you’re interested in drawing, please enter the “Yearbook Cover Contest”. Submit all entries on a piece of white computer paper and use a regular pencil only (NO MARKERS or COLORED PENCILS).All entries must include the following words: an original drawing of a tiger/RETROSPECT/2016/Columbia. Please turn in your entry by placing it in the Yearbook Box in the main office. Entries are due on Friday, October 9, 2015. The WINNER of the contest will receive a free yearbook!
8th Graders are reminded that free apps may be downloaded using your district ID, but if you wish to purchase items from the app store-that are not free- please put the transaction through your personal apple I.D. and not through the district apple I.D. Even personally-purchased.
