18 –OPEN SHOW PONY LEAD REIN.For Ponies, 4 yrs old and over, not exceeding 123cms, suitable for and
to be ridden by a child under 8 yrs on January, 1st2018. Ponies must be shown in snaffle Bridles.They must be led by a person aged 16 yrs and over and should be on a loose Rein, and will berequired to trot. The attendant must affix the Lead Rein to the noseband on which it must remainwhile the Pony is in the Ring. The Rein must go directly from the bit to the Rider’s hand, with noextra aid or attachment to or on the Saddle. Riders will not be asked to dismount. Riders in this Class may not compete in any other Class at the Show except any other Lead Rein Class & the First Ridden Class.

Please Note
Young Show Person Handling Championship – To be judged after “Young Horse” C’Ship.
Open to persons over 16years on January 1st 2018 and who have not attained their 25th Birthday on Show Day. This Class is judged on the Handler’s ability to present and show their Horse/Pony. Attire and Turnout will be taken into account.
Details of animal and handler’s name must be given on entry form.
