The Collegiate Recycler’s Coalition Summer Regional Meeting will be held at Appalachian State University in conjunction with the Appalachian Energy Summit.

10:00am-12:-00pm-CRC Business Meeting

12:00pm-1:30pm-Networking Lunch (lunch will be provided)

Attendees are welcome to attend the CRC meeting and stay and be a part of the Appalachian Energy Summit Zero Waste/Waste Reduction Working Group. This group is charged with elevating the importance of sustainable purchasing decisions and waste reduction efforts at their respective colleges and universities.

You are welcome to attend the CRC meeting only, or both the CRC meeting and Summit if you would like.

As always, this invitation-only event is free to all university and government employees and includes delicious meals beginningMondayevening through lunchon Wednesday. Single-occupancy rooms with private bath in Appalachian's Mountaineer Hall are available at no charge.

You are invited to the6thAnnual Appalachian EnergySummitheld on the campus of Appalachian State University in Boone,North Carolina. This year's Summit takes placeMonday, July 10 through Wednesday, July 12, 2017.

There are two exciting keynote speakers this year.Mondaywill feature former EPA head Gina McCarthy, andTuesdaywill be headlined by Peabody Award winning radio broadcaster Majora Carter. Both talks will be held at the Schaefer Center for the Performing Arts and are open to the public.

The 2017 theme, “Perspectives: Policy & Practice” will highlight the multiple viewpoints needed to develop successful strategies that promote clean energy production, distribution, and consumption.
