College Of Architecture, Arts and Humanities (AAH)
Student Ambassador Application 2018-2019
Program Requirements/Duties:
Students are expected to serve a minimum of one academic year as an Ambassador. Current Ambassadors will be evaluated each semester for continued membership in the program.
- Represent AAH and your major at various events including, but not limited to:
- Fall and Spring Blitz recruiting days
- Spring Phone-a-thon
- Discover Clemson and Experience Clemson prospective student days
- Honors and Awards Day
- Family Weekend
- Fusion (evening thank-you event for College supporters)
- Attend all Ambassador meetings and trainings
- Assist with fundraising efforts for the program throughout the year
- Attend optional service and social events
- Coordinate public relations/promotion of College-sponsored events
- Meet with prospective students and their families and give campus tours
- Be knowledgeable about campus and programs within AAH
- Maintain good academic standing
- Attend meetings every other month to prepare for upcoming events
- Serve as a major mentor for prospective and current students
- Travel to local high schools in an effort to promote Clemson

Application Requirements:
- Enrolled in a major in the College of AAH
- Completed one year of coursework at Clemson and maintain at least a 2.7 GPA
- Completed application and interview process
- Copy of your resume attached to application
Timeline:
- Application opens Tuesday, January 16th
- Applications are dueFriday, February2ndat noon
- Interviewswill take place February 5th through February 16thin Strode 206. An email will be sent out to qualified applicants to sign up for an interview time.
- Applicants notified of decisions by Monday, February 19th
- Applicants must accept position by Monday, February 26th
- Mandatory initial training will be held Sunday,March 11th
