College and Career Readiness Performance Indicators (CCRPI)

Summary Brief 2017

The College and Career Ready Performance Index – CCRPI – is Georgia’s annual tool for measuring how well its schools, districts, and the state itself are preparing students for the next educational level. It provides a comprehensive roadmap to help educators, parents, and community members promote and improve college and career readiness for all students.

The CCRPI includes four main components: Achievement, Progress, Achievement Gap, and Challenge Points. These components, encompassing multiple indicators, are combined for a total CCRPI score on a scale of 0 to 100, with a possibility of 10 additional points. The CCRPI also reports other information, such as the performance of student subgroups, school climate, and financial efficiency status.

Paulding County School District has consistently increased its district CCRPI score for the past four years. For the 2017 school year, the District score increasedfrom 76.1 to 77.5, and exceeded the State score of 75 by 2.5 points. The CCRPI score for all three levels (elementary, middle and high) has increased for the past two years. All three levels remain above the state. PCSD’s elementary score increased to 75.4, while the State elementary score is 72.9. Our middle school score of 77.4 is 4.4 points above the State middle school score of 73. The District’s high school score of 77.5 exceeded the State high school score of 77. Twenty-one schools increased their school CCRPI score, with eight schools increasing their score by more than five points.
