The rain had a day off on Sunday, and the conditions - above the ground – were perfect for a long run, and I believe some covered up to 31 miles! The Hertfordshire half although fairly hilly, was fast with some good easy tracks. After Crossing the Stort Navigation into Essex, apart from a respite along the Flitch Way, going forward provedto be a bit more of a challenge.

89 Started 87 finished.

- Just a quick message to thank you for what was an incredible run today.... Tough but so so enjoyable! Every single volunteer at the stations and finish were very friendly along with all the runner I had the pleasure of running with. The jacket potato at the end was better than any post race goodies I have ever received.
