Cognitive Behavioral Therapy:The CBT group has 4 sessions, and is a structured, interactive, psycho-educational group that meets once per week. The focus is on changing behaviors and thoughts to combat anxiety and/ or depression. (2-3 pm: Th 2/6-2/27; Th 3/6-4/3; W 4/2-4/23; Th 4/10-5/1)

Coping Skills:The Coping Skills group is an interactive psycho-educational group that focuses on physical, behavioral, cognitive, and emotional strategies for dealing with stressors.(W 5:15-6:15 pm)

Cultural Coffee Hour: This is an interactive, talkative group that meets each week at 12:30, with a focus on issues International Students face in adjusting to university life in the US. It is a good place to practice conversation skills, and for domestic students to meet international students. (F 12:30-1:30 pm; drop-in; VIP Center)

General Therapy Groups:General therapy groups are designed to help you learn about yourself and how you interact with others. (M 1-2:30 pm; M 3-4:30 pm; Tu 1:30-3:00 pm; W 3-4:30 pm; Th 12:30-2 pm; Th 3:30-5 pm; F 1:30-3 pm; International Students, F 3-4:30 pm)

Graduate Student Support Group:This group is a place where graduate students can seek support around issues related to graduate study, includingstress; low productivity; problems with advisors or committees; and financial strain.(W 5:15-6:15 pm, bi-weekly; F 12-1 pm, bi-weekly)

Healthy Dating:Building skills for a healthy romantic relationship. Participate in activities and discussions exploring what healthy relationships are all about. The group meets in 206 Student Center. Attend any or all in this series.(Tu 3:30-4:45 pm, starts 2/18, drop-in,231 Student Center)

Major/Career Decision-Making:These workshops assist students with the college major/career decision making process. The workshop is 45 minutes of interactive activity that guides students through the steps involved in making important life decisions.(Drop-in, 203 Frazee, see flyer or website for dates)

Mindfulness:A structured 8-session group that provides an opportunity for students to learn and practice the basics of mindfulness/meditation.(Th 3-4:30 pm, 2/6-4/3)

Reflections: Meaning, Purpose, Direction: This group offers a safe place to engage with others who are exploring a spiritual path.Discussing your experience and engaging in thoughtful activities in a spiritually neutral, supportive place can help to take the loneliness out of this solitary pursuit. (Th 12:30-2 pm)

Social Confidence:This 3-sessioneducational group goes over specific social skills and is particularly geared for students who feel socially awkward, find it difficult to initiate conversation, and have trouble meeting friends or dating partners.(W 11 am, 2/12-3/5)

Test Anxiety:This workshop is for students who prepare well for class exams but receive low test scores, which may be due to many factors such as test anxiety, lack of confidence, or concentration/focus problems. (Drop-in, 203 Frazee, see flyer or website for dates)

Women of Color Support Group: This group is a safe and supportive place for minority women to discuss topics such as loneliness, racism, relationships, sexism, family, academics, sadness, anxiety, health, and self-esteem.(Th 12:30-1:45 pm)

Yoga for Relaxation: Yoga classes are for students who are hoping to reduce stress, relieve anxiety, and relax by practicing yoga.(Tu 5-6 pm, drop-in, Blazer Hall Rec Room)
