MINUTES

Planning Meeting held in the Parish Council Chamber,

Station Road, Codsall on Wednesday 13th May 2015 at 7.00 PM.

PRESENT: Parish and District Councillor: Mrs M Barrow (Chair) Parish Councillors: N Caine, Mrs V Chapman, Mrs K Ewart, B Holland, T Jeavons, S Jenkinson, I Kenyon,

N Loftus, Mrs C Millar, Mrs A Morrison, B Spencer, P Wright Parish and County Councillor R Marshall

Six members of the public were in attendance.

1. APOLOGIES

Apologies were received from Cllr Michell.

2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST AND REQUESTS FOR DISPENSATION

There were no declarations of interest or written requests received for dispensation.

3. MINUTES

Resolved that the Minutes of the Planning Meeting held on the 22nd April 2015 be signed as a true record.

6. PLANNING APPLICATIONS

Resolved that the following recommendations be made to South Staffordshire Council:

Construction of a 2 storey extension to provide master bedroom suite and kitchen of a useful working working size, allowing for a sitting and dining area, ancillary rooms for utility, pantry, boot room/cloakroom and a ground floor WC

Construction of detached 3 bay garage.

Licensing Application: Wergs Golf Club – PL0045

Application to vary the premises licence to include the performance of dance and extend the hours of other licensable activities as follows:

Live music (indoors): Monday to Sunday from 12 noon to 0100.

Recorded music (indoors): Monday to Sunday 12 noon to 0100 with background music from 0700 (not a licensable activity)

Performances of dance (indoors): Monday to Sunday 12 noon to 0100.

Supply of alcohol (on and off the premises) Monday to Sunday 0900 to 0100.

Following a proposal and a seconded amendment to the proposal a vote was taken on the amended proposal, the meeting resolved approval for the following times:

11.30 Monday – Thursday

12.30 Friday to Saturday

11.30 Sunday

Refusal to permitting the supply of alcohol off the premises

Vote: 11 in favour 3 against

Jaguar Land Rover’s plans for development at the i54 business park.

An invitation to attend a preview event of development on Thursday 21st May for the chairman and any councillor who wish to be involved was received.

The Preview Event is to be held at: Pendeford Community Hub, Whitburn Close, Pendeford, Wolverhampton WV9 6NJ 2pm to 3pm.

Resolved that Cllr Holland, and Cllr Jeavons would attend.
