Proceedings of the regular meeting held Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at the Village Hall,

Cochrane, WI at 7:00 p.m. Notice of meeting was recognized in the C-FC Recorder.

Village President Dave Busch presiding. Trustees present were Tim Bossert, Greg Hofer,

Tom Hansen, Bill Meier, Chuck Speltz, and Kari Wilde.

Also in attendance were Edna Meier and Tom Platteter.

Edna asked if would be okay to have a toy pig as a pet? As long as it is a pet and no complaints are received, yes, it would be okay.

Motion Bill; second Kari to approve the September 8, 2015 minutes. All yes. Approved.

Filling the vacant trustee seat was discussed. We will first see if Shawn Auman, who was the next highest vote receiver in the last election, if he would be interested. If he is not, further options will be discussed at the November meeting.

Committee Reports

-Tree trimming along the sidewalks was discussed. The sidewalks need to be clear for those using the sidewalks. Letters will be sent to about 10 residents.

-CTW will be here Monday to televise and clean the well and install the new pump.

-Tim will be researching the references for Goose Lake Dredging throughout the winter.

-The weather siren procedure was discussed. The Weather Service notifies dispatch and they set off the siren for a tornado. The Village calls in for other needs, such as the monthly test which is held the first Tuesday at 1:00.

-Greg Hofer was appointed the chairperson for the Sewer & Water/Streets & Sidewalks Committee.

-Kari asked to be removed from the BBC committee. Chuck Speltz was assigned.

-The 2016 Budget Meeting will be Tuesday, October 20 at 6:00.

-The 2016 Budget Hearing will be Tuesday, November 10 at 6:45, with the regular meeting to immediately follow.

-Motion Tim; second Chuck to approve the bills. All yes. Approved.

We received notice that the Buffalo County Recycling Committee will be reinstating the $1 per capita fee in 2016. That will be $450 for Cochrane. We may look into our options again.
