COASTAL MIDDLE SCHOOL PHYSICAL EDUCATION – Coach Sanders
The Coastal Middle School Physical Education department offers an outstanding program that empowers students to understand and appreciate the value of being physically active and to develop the motivation for making healthy choices. Our department offers a variety of activities that are intended to intrigue students and offer maximum participation. As such, students are expected to dress out properly. Students will receive daily grades for dressing out and participation. Proper dress for P.E. includes the following:
Dress
1. T-Shirts: School colors with minimal logos and graphics are preferred. Navy, gray, yellow or white t-shirt. Tank tops are not allowed. T-shirts should meet the school dress code. T-shirts purchased through the PTSA, homeroom, or the PE staff and/or has a Coastal Seahawk would also be appropriate.
2. Shorts: Navy, gray or black gym shorts. Shorts should have a minimum 6 inch inseam and should break above the knee. No denim is allowed
3. Yoga or compression pants: If these are worn, the accompanying t-shirt must be of thigh length.
