New York, NY – September 10, 2012 – Coastal Living today announced a partnership with Wayfair.com, the largest online retailer of home furnishings, to launch Coastal Living at Wayfair, one of the first online boutiques born from a shelter magazine that directly links selected in-book content to an e-retailer. As part of a collaboration to form a premier one-stop online shopping destination, Coastal Living at Wayfair (wayfair.com/coastal) offers luxury products at a range of price points and truly produces a seamless extension of the Coastal Living brand.

“Our partnership with Wayfair enables us to broadly leverage the Coastal Living brand equity to drive product sales in the e-commerce space,” said Charlie Kammerer, Group Publisher, Coastal Living and This Old House. “We are excited to work with the team at Wayfair to raise the bar on what constitutes a well-executed connection between media content and commerce.”

Coastal Living reviews Wayfair’s vast inventory of home furnishings with its keen editorial eye and delivers a curated collection that is chic, practical, and always uniquely coastal. Consumers can recreate the décor found in the magazine’s pages by purchasing editor-selected products. New products will be added to Coastal Living at Wayfair each week, including: appliances, furniture, flatware, textiles and home accents tied to coastal style, travel and food.

“The Coastal Living boutique simplifies the path from inspiration to realization by offering shoppers tons of options for great home décor and coastal style,” said Antonia van der Meer, editor-in-chief, Coastal Living. “We are able to better serve our readers by bringing the design aesthetics we love to one trusted retail destination for the seamless extension of our brand into their homes and lives.”

Coastal Living at Wayfair delivers a natural extension of editorial content centered on four pillars, including: House Tour, Get the Look, Life+Style and Things We Love. In addition to presenting editor-selected products, the brand’s first e-commerce boutique offers the largest collection of Coastal Living licensed products in one place, including furnishings from Stanley, Jaipur and Lloyd/Flanders.

“The launch of Coastal Living at Wayfair is a major milestone on our path to building the best content-driven shopping experience for the home,” added Niraj Shah, CEO, Wayfair. “Coastal Living is an exceptional brand with a loyal and enthusiastic following that is passionate about home design. We are thrilled to embark on a partnership that provides shoppers an expertly curated vantage point for exploring and discovering our zillions of options for the home.”
