Coaches and Athletic Directors,

I would like to personally thank everyone for your participation in this year’s Team MissionSports Holiday Basketball Invitational. I saw a lot of good basketball but most importantly good sportsmanship displayed by all the teams in the field! Congratulations to the Lady Cavaliers from Durham Academy with their hard fought 44-35 victory over the Chargers from Cary Academy. On the boys side it was the championship game tallied the game of the night with the Bulldogs of Southeast Raleigh High School surviving a back and forth battle with tournament runner-up Neuse Christian Academy; final score 73-65.
