As a head or assistant coach in the Farragut Baseball Inc. (FBI)League, you must be willing to wear many hats and take on certain responsibilities as a representative of FBI. In addition to coaching, your time and talents will be called upon to be a grounds-keeper, construction worker, painter, garbage collector, fund-raiser, etc., to further assist fellow coaches and the league as a whole. You may also be required to attend a coaching clinic in order to further develop your knowledge and to acquire liability insurance for the upcoming season(s). Starting in Hank Aaron (7U) Leagues and above, you are also expected to secure a paid sponsor for your team for the Spring seasons and/or as indicated by the FBI President, League Commissioner, and Board. You will be expected to support all fundraising events and workdays as set by the Board. When you sign below, you indicate your willingness to participate in and support such activities as outlined on this form and any others set forth by the FBI Board members.
As the Board, we appreciate your support of FBI and to help further the learning and understanding of players for the game of baseball. Please indicate your willingness and agreement to participate as a coach in the league by signing below. By doing so, you also acknowledge that you have read and understand the General Code of Conduct for Coaches and Parents. Please understand that all coaches are expected to obtain a paid sponsor for his/her team as indicated above and by the rules set forth by the FBI Board. The Board can provide assistance and/or directions for coaches new to the League or that need additional help.
