RUSINPRO Auction House with the support of the Business Center of the CIS Economic Development organizes Intellectual Property Auction of CIS countries. The auction will be held in Moscow in December 2013.

Co-organizers of the Auction are Russian branch of the Licensing Executives Society International (LESI) and Science and Technology Association "Technopol-Moscow".

The world practice of such auctions has existed for more than six years. The most famous auctions were organized by Ocean Tomo Intellectual Capital Equity, a division of the Trade Bank of intellectual Property, Chicago. From 2006 to 2009 the firm Ocean Tomo has conducted more than ten auctions in the U.S. The share of lots sold at these auctions reached 41 percent of the total number of patents put up for sale, and the total value of sales exceeded U.S. $ 86 million. ICAP Patent Brokerage experts believe that such auctions make an important contribution to the transparency of the market and provide an opportunity to invest in the best technologies.

The First Russian Auction of intellectual property took place in Moscow In December 2012.

Innovative technologies in the fields of engineering, energy efficiency, energy conservation, nuclear energy, environmental management, transportation and space systems, medicine, pharmacology, biotechnology were presented at this auction of 36 lots worth more than 1 billion rubles

According to foreign experts, the market for intellectual property in Russia and the CIS countries is estimated at more than $ 300 billion. We believe that the holding of such auctions gives impetus to the development of the liquidity of the market.
