-Two man team representing the University Of Houston Bauer College Of Business. Prepared and presented a 70 page response to the following Case Study Assignment:

  • Assess trends in corporate philanthropic giving.
  • Develop a business plan to help minority-serving nonprofits position themselves to enhance corporate engagement.
  • Develop a management plan to help corporations identify lapses in giving to Minority serving Non Profits.
  • Develop a branding and social media strategy.

2012 Participant - “Why Be an Economist” Economics Summer Institute (Howard University – Washington DC)

  • Met with Economists in the Washington DC area to understand the different areas of economic research and the roles and responsibilities of an economist. Specifically met with economists from the Census Bureau, CIA, Federal Reserve Board of Governors, and The Urban Institute. Completed a research project analyzing how economists help address the problem of long term unemployment in underserved communities
