Background:

This initiative aims to increase participation opportunities for young people through a planned programme of activities agreed through the establishment of school/club links. This grant schemeprovides children within schools in CountyKerryan opportunity to experience a new sport, and provides a link to the local club which encourages long term regular participation in sport and physical activity.

Note: €15.00 per hour is the maximum amount allowable towards coaching costs associated with the programme.This is to allow for greater usage of limited funds available.
