1. YUTC Continues to Grow!

We are now over 70 athletes strong! This is two members larger then last year’s team, but with 9 coaches now (we only had 6 last year) we still have some room to grow in some training groups. I do know there are about a half dozen athletes that are going through the registration process currently. We should poised to go into Ontario Championships with a very competitive team.

High school age athletes – since many of you will be into your high school season and will not be competing at this meet, this is an excellent opportunity for you to help the club and earn some volunteer credit hours for both high school community service and YUTC commitment hours.

YUTC Transportation:This is a day trip and cost per athlete is $20 for van unless athlete has YUTC Credit hours. Athletes can either pay Rich this week at the track or the driver of the van before boarding. If you are wondering if you have credit hours see Rich or visit the YUTC website and revisit the March 30th YUTC e-news letter.

Van #1 – Rich,Elizabeth, Cynthia, Kristin, Sarah, Umar – departing at 6am and will pick up athletes along the way and will be dropped off at the same location.

4. TRACK FACILITY CLOSURES THIS WEEK – April 13th

TTFC will play host to elementary and high school meets over the next two months. The facility will be closed during these meets. Coaches and athletes need to watch for announcements on the Brooks electronic indoor scoreboard for closure days and times.
