Boccia England values personal and professional development, and recognising that development of new skills and knowledge is at the heart of improving the quality and sustainability of Boccia in clubs.

This grant aims to support clubs in training and up skilling coaches to obtain courses and qualifications that will be utilised by the club. We are looking for coaches who are committed, motivated and determined to succeed.

What can you apply for?

Financial assistance towards the costs of a Level 1Coaching Qualification in Boccia in attending the following course;

How much can you apply for?

Clubs are eligible to apply for a maximum of £200of the course cost and only one grant per club per year is permitted.

Payment

If your application is successful you will be required to pay the remaining £50 of the course cost upfront to secure a place on the course. The remaining course cost will be funded through this Coach Development Grant Scheme.

Reporting

It is important to note, that if your application is successful for a grant you may be required to report on the progress of your activity as well as completing a short review upon completion. This information provides an opportunity for you to demonstrate your development

Terms and Conditions

In applying for this grant you are confirming you are willing to comply with the following terms and conditions:

  • Any grant received must be used for exactly the purpose of contributing towards the cost of a level 1boccia coaching qualification.
  • Coaches must book and pay £50 of the course cost.
  • Any successful grant applicant may be required to follow the reporting criteria at the request of Boccia England.
  • Under no circumstances will Boccia England increase a grant after the allocation has been set.
  • Travel and Accommodation for the course is at your own expense.
  • The support will be recognised as a one off award and does not imply Boccia England is committed to any future funding.
  • Applications will only be accepted from affiliated (Boccia England member clubs) boccia clubs.

Boccia England will withhold or recall grant payments if any of the above terms and conditions are not met.
