TRADES, TECHNICAL, AND INDUSTRIAL SCHOLARSHIP
(Applications are due to School Counseling Office by Friday, April 6, 2018.)
A scholarship in an amount of $1,000 will be awarded to a Clinton High School senior who has taken a minimum of THREE trimester hours of Industrial Technology or Vocational courses. Applicants must complete the attached application and include a copy of their transcript. Applications should be returned to the CHS Counseling Office. The Trades, Technical and Industrial Scholarship selection committee may conduct scholarship interviews prior to selecting the scholarship recipient.
The scholarship recipient will select a trade or vocational school or college, to be approved by the committee, which he or she wishes to attend. After admission is assured, the scholarship will be sent to the college and credited to their account.
If the winner finds it impossible to use the scholarship as intended, the amount or remaining portion thereof, shall be returned to the scholarship fund for use in subsequent years. If you are interested—1) fill out the application, 2) include copy of your transcript, and 3) return forms to the School Counseling Office.
The recipient will be expected to attend Senior Convocation on Wednesday, May 23, 2018. The Trades, Technical, and Industrial Scholarship will be presented to the winner by a member of the scholarship selection committee at this time.
