Climbing & Service RRG
Overview
Come join us for a fun filled weekend of climbing in the world renowned Red River Gorge of Eastern Kentucky. We will climb the world class routes of the Red and, in addition, will be volunteering a portion of our time to help out with trail maintenance, exotic species removal, etc. The Red is becoming overrun and we need to give back in order to preserve the places that we love.We will be climbing routes of all difficulties. This trip is being offered to beginner climbers, but welcomes all skill levels. We will seek out routes that have positive hand and foot holds, are more vertical than overhanging, and provide a good experience to our beginner climbers!
Environment
Kentucky in March could a bit on the cool side, check local forecasts for updates. RRG is a beautiful wilderness with great trails leading to the climbs. Be prepared for some mild hiking throughout the day.Equipment
