Job Purpose:To provide support to the Business Manager and Managing Director of Edinburgh Rugby, assisting with all aspects of the club marketing and match day activities.

- Client satisfaction surveys

To help develop and administer the marketing database, which includes client and prospect information, mailing list applications, access to financial reports, etc. / Planning and Organising

Number and Level of staff: / No permanent line management responsibility; occasional supervision of work experience staff / volunteers.
Financial Responsibility: / Manages and administers the Edinburgh Rugby marketing budget. Process and handles invoices relating to marketing activity and also matchday hospitality and player catering orders. Handles matchday cash
Physical Resource Responsibility: / Laptop; Telephone
Working Environment: / Mainly desk-based; involves a lot of weekend work
Physical aspects of role: / No day-to-day physical effort required

Qualifications and Attainments: /
- Marketing qualification (degree level or equivalent and or, significant experience)
 - Higher English & Higher Maths (or equivalent level) qualification
 - Good, working knowledge of MS Office packages
 
- Sport or sports club marketing experience
 - CIM
 
Knowledge and Experience: /
- Working in a commercial and/or marketing environment
 - Experience of Stakeholder Management at all levels
 - Ability to build effective working relationships
 - Excellent organisational skills
 - First classwritten and verbal communication skills
 
- Knowledge and understanding of Scottish professional rugby
