RETURN PROJECT AND CONCLUSION
First contacts for the repatriation project. / May 2013, after Deportation Order
Mr A1 is convinced of its repatriation because is condition of illegal resident in the town, without chance to get new documents. As homeless he contacted police in railway station, asking information about return (April 2013).
On 8th May 2013, during a Police control, he got a Deportation Order. The Policeman, soon, called the Social service of The City and invited the client to go to Immigration Center of the City.
Time before the return / The interviews and the application took almost one month to define the project (May-June 2013).
Interview and activities with operators of the repatriation project. Project idea reintegration / The young man had several interviews and dialogue with the Social Service of the Immigration Centre of the City, from May to June 2013. First, social workers tried to understand: the reason of migration, the story of failure of migration project, the social network here and in Bangladesh.
In the last months he had no activity to survive. It was impossibleto sell glasses illegaly to tourists due to strong police control.
As a homeless person his life was terribly hard, and so he decided on AVR. On 14th of May he signed the application to voluntaryreturn with the Mirave project. After that application, the police withdrew the Deportation Order, in this way the project of return was accepted.
Conclusion / The project Mirave, by Oim, offered a little support: counselling in Italy, managing of return travel, assistancefor documents, meals and hotel in Rome before leaving, € 200 before leaving.
The little amount of money didn't permit a real reintegration project.
The client left in June 2013.
