01-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY AND REMEDY

WARRANTY DESCRIPTION

WCC guarantees to the original consumer purchaser that products installed in a commercial unit by WCC will be free of defective workmanship for One (1) years from the original installation date. Should any defects develop during the warranty period due to improper material, workmanship, or arrangement, the same, including adjacent work displaced, shall be made good by the undersigned at no expense to the Owner or WCC. If the determination has been made that the defect or concern is attributable to our workmanship, WCC will, at its option, (1) repair the defective product, (2) replace the defective materials or (3) refund your purchase price.

WHO IS COVERD?

This warranty extends only to the original purchaser of glass products (walls, doors, windows, and etc.) from WCC. The warranty starts on the date that the installation of products in the Commercial Office space and remains effective as long as the original purchaser owns the Commercial Office space for up to five (5) years. This warranty is NON transferable.

Important Notice:

With respect to all claims under this warranty, WCC shall have the right to inspect any and all products alleged to be defective. The Product Warranty applies only when product is maintained in accordance with the recommendations contained Glazing Systems, proper care instructions, and installed. Products have not been modified or altered in any way whatsoever; and WCC representative is afforded a reasonable opportunity to inspect the allegedly defective Products before any removal and/or replacement work is carried out (except for such work as shall be reasonably necessary to prevent the risk of personal injury or damage to property).

WHAT’S NOT COVERD?

This Product Warranty does not cover misuse, abuse or acts of God. This Product Warranty covers U.S. installations only. Damage or defects relating to misuse, abuse, the use of applied tints or films, modification, and or alterations (including but not limited to customer-applied finishes) are also not covered by the Product Warranty.

Normal wear and tear.
Damage due to alarm installations.
Acts of nature (e.g. fire, hurricane, etc.).
Improper storage, or handling.
Building movements and settlements.
Failure to maintain product under manufacturer’s warranty.
Condensation, or damage due to condensation on your windows or doors.

Limitations on Remedies:

In no event will WCC be liable for incidental or consequential damages (other than labor to repair or replace products under this warranty), whether based on breach of express or implied warranty, breach of contract, negligence, strict liability or any other legal theory. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damage, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. You also have specific legal rights under the manufacturer’s warranty, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.

In no event shall WCC be responsible for any costs of removal, installation or reinstallation, for loss of use, or for incidental, consequential, or other damages of any kind. WCC reserves the right to have any glass to which the foregoing warranty applies inspected in the field by a qualified representative, and to have samples furnished to WCC for examination and laboratory analysis.

MAINTANCE

We recommend mild, non- abrasive, non-alkaline cleaning solutions or non-abrasive powder cleanser. The following have been used successfully in the past. ·Basic H® Classic · Formula 409® Glass & Surface Cleaner ·Sparkle Glass Cleaner· Windex Original Glass Cleaner.

Care & Clean - FOR GENERAL GLASS PRODUCTS

CARE must be taken not to scratch the screen
Do not use bristle brushes or abrasive cleaning materials
Cleaning methods used should be similar to those used on Plexiglas®
A soft cloth or clean synthetic sponge is recommended for washing. Do not use the same towel or sponge for wiping sills or frames
Do not apply heavy pressure in any cleaning operation
Make sure you use a different sponge, cleaning cloth and water bucket for cleaning the outside and the inside of the windows
A little extra detergent for cleaning the film side will make using the squeegee easier
Failure to comply with these care and cleaning guidelines may result in loss of warranty.

FOR SANDBLASTED /ACID WASHED OR TREATED PRODUCTS

Clean the sandblasted side of the glass with a good quality, no streaking window cleaner. Spray the glass lightly and then wipe with a clean towel. Lint free terry towels are preferred. Paper towels can be used but many leave fine particles that can be felt if you run your hand over the glass. When the glass is dry, this “paper lint” can usually be lightly wiped off. Never use anything abrasive. Concentrate your cleaning more in the areas that are blotchy. IMPORTANT – Continue lightly drying the glass in circular motions until the moisture disappears. This prevents water lines or water spots. Hard repeated rubbing can start polishing areas of the glass and complicate the problem.
If the above has not restored the original look – Use a small amount of GOOF OFF®, or a similar product, that cuts oil. These are available from most home supply stores in the paint department. If these are not available, paint or lacquer thinner can also be used. BE CAREFUL NOT TO GET THESE ON PAINTED SURFACES WITHOUT FIRST TESTING AN INCONSPICUOUS SPOT. Rub the cleaning product onto the surface in a circular motion to completely wet the area that needs cleaning. Then clean with a good quality window cleaner, as described above.

FAILURE to comply with these care and cleaning guidelines may result in loss of warranty.

We, undersigned, do hereby warrant that all labor and material furnished and work performed in conjunction with the above reference project are in compliance with the Contract Documents and authorized modifications thereto, and will be free from defects due to defective materials or workmanship for a period of one year or a time as specified in the Project Manual from the Date of Turnover.

This Warranty commences on 08 – 25 – 2017and expires on 08 – 25 – 2018.
