The competitor discharges the organisers and other competitors from all claims that the competitor may have however caused, or any loss or damage sustained during these championships or while on the premises of the championships.

Coaches are reminded of their responsibilities, to make sure that all his / her competitors are covered by a valid licence / insurance

All competitors must be in possession of a full and valid EKF licence on the competition day

Rules

There will be licence checks on the day (no licence, no participation)
Coaches please dress in a manor suited for coaching
Club coaches and competitors must maintain good conduct and etiquette at all times. Only one club coach is permitted on the area. All others not competing in that particular event must use the spectator areas at all times.
WKF rules will apply on the day. Kumite Bouts will be 11/2 minutes in duration for children & junior grades and where possible 2 minutes for adult senior grades. Trophies and or medals will be awarded for 1st 2nd and joint 3rd places.
Kumite; some categories may have to be merged depending on available numbers
WKF Approved protective equipment must be worn for all kumite bouts, White Karate Suits, Red and Blue Mitts, Gum Shields, Female Chest Protectors, Red and Blue Shin and Instep pads all other protection optional
