Introduce Food Network Concessions Items

Brownstown featuring Buffalo chicken macaroni and cheese, grilled cheese with tomato soup

CLEVELAND(Nov. 8, 2010)– The Cleveland Browns and Delaware North Companies Sportservice, the team’s concessions partner, have introduced dishes created by Food Network at Cleveland Browns Stadium.

Sportservice has begun serving two dishes available to all fans attending Cleveland Browns home games – Buffalo chicken macaroni and cheese and the signature grilled cheese & fire-roasted tomato soup.

The Buffalo chicken macaroni and cheese, which combines two favorites with a Food Network twist, is available for $5. The savory grilled cheese, which features cheddar cheese, griddled between two golden slices of sourdough, served with rustic tomato soup, is $7.50.

Both dishes are available from a portable concessions cart in Brownstown, the 11,000-square-foot area open to all fans for the ultimate indoor tailgating experience. Brownstown features a large-format, high-definition (HD) projection screen, 35 liquid crystal display (LCD) TVs and a full-service bar.

Cleveland Browns Stadium is among the first venues at which Sportservice operates to make Food Network dishes available in concessions for all attending fans. In the summer, Sportservice introduced Food Network dishes on suite menus at Progressive Field and other Major League ballparks.

“These dishes are a delicious take on classic ballpark fare, served fresh and prepared by Sportservice using the best ingredients,” said Sportservice Regional Executive Chef James Major. “We’re thrilled to make a few of them available to all Browns fans attending the games.”

Delaware North and Food Network, one of the most popular lifestyle networks on television, began a partnership in March to develop new menu, restaurant and retail concepts for the hospitality and food service provider's locations across North America, including major professional sports venues, airports and other destinations.
