1. Submitting your Application

To be considered for this scholarship, the female applicant must attach all of the following to the completed application: (Please arrange the following in order and attach to application.)

1.)The official seven (7) semester high school transcript of grades

2.)Full SAT scores(all three parts) or ACT total

3.)A one page (typed) field of interest essay. Discuss which field of study you plan to pursue and your future plans.

4.)A recommendation from either your counselor, teacher or a high school principal.

5.)A copy of the full FAFSA Report (pdf format) which will provide us with the expected family contribution

CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH THIS SCHOLARSHIP IS GRANTED

1. If a scholarship recipient either accepts more than $10,000 in the Freshman year or more than $40,000 total for four years from additional scholarships, federal or state grants, then the Crawford-Zbanek Scholarship will notbe awarded and willbe given to the first runner-up.

1. The recipient must attend four consecutive years at a 4-year Texas college or university. A year constitutes fall and spring semesters. Scholarship funds are not awarded for study outside the state of Texas.

1. Scholarship funds are not awarded for post graduate studies.

4. The recipient must achieve a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75 in the Freshman year. For every semester thereafter, she must achieve a 3.0 cumulative or better.

5. The recipient must be a full-time female student, carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester.
