2018 Chamber Ambassadors Program
The Clayton County Chamber Partners are a group of professional volunteers from various businesses that serve as liaisons between the Chamber and its members. All Chamber Ambassadors should represent us with the highest degree of professionalism, knowledge and integrity. Chamber Ambassadors contact new and existing members to welcome and invite them to events, assist at ribbon cuttings, coordinate membership orientations, and lead first time attendee introductions at the networking breakfasts and assist with registration and support at various events as needed. All Chamber Ambassadors must be in good standing with their membershipto remain a part of the Program.
Chamber Ambassador Requirements
To become a Chamber Ambassador, you must be invited by a Chamber staff member or a current Chamber Ambassador. Those seeking to become a Chamber Ambassador must meet the following requirements:- Complete Ambassador training (retraining)
- Sign agreement pertaining to conduct and expectations of being a Chamber Ambassador.
- Attendance at two (2) Networking Breakfasts
- Attendance at (1) Membership Open House
- Attendance at one (1) BASH or two (2) Ribbon Cuttings
- Must be Chamber member in good standing
Point Incentives
The following are the 2018-point incentives for Chamber Ambassadors:- Complimentary Admission to Networking Event-25 points
- Chamber Name Badge (first year. Admission to Networking Event thereafter) -50 points
- Second Complimentary Admission to Networking Event – 75 Points
- Partner listed on Chamber website (company website & e-mail link included)- 100 points
- Third Complimentary Admission to Networking Event-125 points
- Complimentary Exhibit table at BASH -150 points
- Fourth Complimentary Admission to Networking Event-175 points
- 2018 Annual Banquet (complimentary admittance for one) -200 points
- Fifth Complimentary Admission to Networking Event – 225 points
- Table at Veteran’s Day Luncheon – 250 points
Point Calculation
- One Point- Attending a Committee Meeting or Event
- Two Points- Member calls/visits
- Two Points – Volunteering for Leadership Clayton (Less than 6 hours)
- Two Points- Volunteering at an event (Less than 6 hours)
- Three Points – Assisting with the renewal of an existing member (Member retention)
- Three Points- Ribbon Cuttings/ Membership Open House/Chamber Cheer Squad
- Three Points – Volunteering less than 6 hours at the office
- Five Points- Volunteering over 6 hours or more at an event
- Five Points – Volunteering over 6 hours for Leadership Clayton
- Six Points – Volunteering over 6 hours at the office.
- Golf - Full Day Volunteering- 10 points; 6 hours or less - 5 points
- Expo - Full Day Volunteering- 10 points; 6 hours or less - 5 points
- Two Points - Bringing a non-member to a Chamber event
- Ten Points –Signing up a non-member to join the Chamber
