CLASS 1Regional Team & Individual Competition-For members of any age not to have previously represented their branch or Centre at Novice level or above in Area Eventing or Show Jumping competitions.
First round not to exceed 80cm, second round x2 fences may be 85cm
The first 8 teams will qualify for the Regional Championships
The first 8 individuals not in one of the qualifying teams will qualify for Regional Championships
Team rosettes awarded to 8th place , individual rosettes will be awarded to the top 8 individuals

A TACK CHECK WILL PRECEDE THE START OF EACH CLASS.
PRESENTATIONS WILL BE MADE APPROX 30 MINUTES
AFTER THE RESULTS ARE POSTED

NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT FULL PAYMENT

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
- The Competition will be run in accordance with the Pony Club Show Jumping Rules 2017- these rules are also available online
- All entries must comply with the Entry Rules and Guidance and be signed by the District Commissioner of the entrant’s branch.
- Hats must comply with the current Pony Club minimum standards and be tagged.
- Horses/ponies to be at least 5 years old.
- The Official Steward’s decision is final.
- Substitutionsmay be permitted after the closing date for declarations subject to Rule 32 of the PCSJR 2017No team substitutions allowed once the Competition has started.
- Teams shall comprise 3 or 4 members of the same Pony Club Branch or Centre but individuals may be combined into a team pursuant to rule 30(a) of the PCSJR 2017or 30(b) for the Open team competition
- Teamsand individuals must report to the collecting ring for a Tack check at least 30 minutes before the time they are scheduled to jump in the first round.
- Objections must be lodged in writing, with a £10 deposit, to the Secretary within 30 minutes of the incident or results being published, whichever is the sooner.
- A Pony Club competitor wishing to wear spurs must carry a note of permission from their District Commissioner. (B test holders exempt.)
- No entry fees will be considered for refund after closure of entries.
- The Organiser reserves the right to alter the schedule at any time prior to the Competition.
- The organisers request that each branch provides 4 adult helpers for their own team during each round to act as pole pickers

FIRST AID & CATERING WILL BE IN ATTENDANCEAll DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON LEADS AT ALL TIMES – RECOVERY FEE £25

AWARDS
AREA COMPETITION -
Rosettes are awarded to the Members of the first six teams and the first six individuals.
Prizes only awarded if the rider is present at the prizegiving.
The organisers reserve the right to amend awards presented.
Members MUST be correctly dressed for prizegiving.
PLEASE NOTE THERE WILL BE ONE RING; CLASSES WILL FOLLOW ON FROM EACH OTHER.
Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event nor the Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies accepts liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horse, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars their contents and accessories or any other person or property whatsoever whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Members of other branches of the Pony Club must have their entry forms countersigned by their D.C. or Secretary
HEALTH & SAFETY: The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the Health & Safety of every person present.
