b. The fireworks regulations create a general prohibition that fireworks must not be set off between the hours of 11pm and 7am, except on 4 permitted fireworks nights. EXEMPTIONS
At a meeting of the Council’s Planning and Regulation Panel it was agreed that events that meet all of the following criteria be exempt from requiring a temporary public entertainment licence:
1. An event organised by a charity or voluntary/community group (that can demonstrate/confirm that they are not for profit organisation) this will also include such community events as gala days and village fetes;
2. Admit no more than 300 people in total to the event; and
3. Do not charge an entry fee or, where an entrance fee is charged, it is for not more than £10 per person (2012 prices) or where entry is by voluntary donation.

SCOTTISH FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICE
GUIDANCE NOTES RELATING TO WHAT IS REQUIRED WITHIN FIRE RISK ASSESSMENTS FOR EVENTS
All areas of fire safety as per sector specific guidance (Scottish Government Website: Fire Law) should be covered within the Fire Risk Assessment being submitted.
Reviewed Fire Risk Assessments for repeat events (date of Review should be within 12 months of the event date/application). The Fire Risk Assessment for every event should be looked at every year and updated accordingly.
When completing your Fire Risk Assessment the following should be submitted along with the application:-
