NO PERMIT REQUIRED AS OF MARCH 26, 2013
5.69.060 - Frequency, Duration& Permissible Dates.
A. Subject to the additional limitations imposed by subsections B and C of this section, no garage sale shall be conducted by any person or at any location more frequently than four (4) times in any calendar year. For the purposes of this section, ‘calendar year’ means the twelve (12) month period from January through December, inclusive.
B. Garage sales may be conducted up to a maximum period of three (3) consecutive days.
C. Garage sales shall only be conducted on the first weekend of the months of March, June, September and December. For the purposes of this subsection, the term ‘weekend’ means Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

5.69.080 - Restrictions & Conditions.
Garage sales shall comply with all of the following regulations:
A. Garage sales shall be conducted only during daylight hours.
B. No property offered for sale at a garage sale shall be stored, displayed, or offered for sale within public rights-of-way or on public property at any time.
C. Property offered for sale at a garage sale may be displayed in the front or side yards of the premises where the sale is conducted.
D. All property to be sold at a garage sale shall be limited to used personal property owned, utilized and maintained by the seller of property or members of his/her family on or in connection with the premises where the sale will be conducted or group of residences within the same neighborhood. No new or used property acquired or consigned solely for the purposes of resale shall be displayed or offered for sale or trade.
E. All merchandise offered for sale at a garage sale shall be made available for inspection by the city’s code enforcement division. If requested by the code enforcement division, the seller of property conducting the garage sale shall produce evidence of title or ownership to the merchandise offered for sale.
5.69.100 - Advertising.
A. No more than two (2) signs, not more than four square feet, shall be permitted to be displayed on the property of the residence where the garage sale is being conducted.
B. The posting of garage sale directional signs on public property, including, but not limited to, parkways, greenbelts, bus benches, sidewalks, curbs, vehicle safety poles, signs, and stanchions, or upon any parked vehicle on a public street, alley, or parking lot, or upon utility poles is unlawful. Directional signs not larger than eight hundred sixty-four square inches may be placed on private property provided the person conducting the garage sale has obtained the prior consent therefore from the owner or occupant of the premises where the directional sign is placed. There shall be no more than four such directional signs erected for any garage sale permitted pursuant to this chapter.
5.69.110 - Violation – Penalty.
A. General. Unless expressly provided otherwise by this chapter, violation of any part of this chapter shall be punishable as an infraction.
B. Multiple Violations. - A person who violates the same section of this chapter more than three times within one year shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.”

5.69.060 – Frecuencia, Duración y Fechas Admisibles.
A. Sujeto a las limitaciones adicionales impuestas por los subsecciones B y C de esta sección, ninguna venta de garaje serán conducidos por cualquier persona o en cualquier lugar con mayor frecuencia de cuatro veces en un año calendario. A los efectos de esta sección, "año calendario" significa el período de doce meses de enero a diciembre, inclusive.
B. Ventas de garaje puede llevarse a cabo hasta un plazo máximo de tres días consecutivos.
C. Ventas de garaje sólo se realizará el primer fin de semana de los meses de marzo, junio, septiembre y diciembre. A los efectos de este subsección, el término "fin de semana" significa el viernes, el sábado y el domingo

5.69.080 - Restricciones y Condiciones.
Ventas de garaje deberá cumplir con todos los reglamentos siguientes:
A. Ventas de garaje se efectuarán sólo durante las horas diurnas.
B. Ninguna propiedad a la venta en una venta de garaje será almacenada, muestra o puesta a la venta dentro de servidumbres de paso públicas o en la propiedad pública en cualquier momento.
C. Propiedad en venta en una venta de garaje puede visualizarse en los patios frontales o laterales de las instalaciones donde se lleva a cabo la venta.
D. Todos los bienes que se venderá en una venta de garaje se limitará a utilizar bienes propiedad, utilizado y mantenido por el vendedor de la propiedad o miembros de su familia en o en relación con el local donde se llevará a cabo la venta o el grupo de residencias en el mismo barrio. Ninguna propiedad nueva o usada adquiridos o consignados únicamente para los fines de reventa se muestra u ofrecida para la venta o comercio.
E. Toda la mercancía a la venta en una venta de garaje estarán disponible para inspección por la división de cumplimiento de código de la ciudad. Si se solicita por la división de cumplimiento de código, el vendedor de la propiedad, llevando a cabo la venta de garaje deberá presentar evidencia de titularidad o propiedad de la mercancía a la venta.
5.69.100 – Anuncios.
A. No más de dos (2) anuncios, no más de cuatro metros cuadrados, se deberán permitir a mostrarse en la propiedad de la residencia donde se lleva a cabo la venta de garaje.
B. La publicación de la venta de garaje direccional en la propiedad pública, incluyendo, sin limitarse a, avenidas, zonas verdes, bancos de autobuses, aceras, bordillos, postes de seguridad del vehículo, signos y candeleros, o en cualquier vehículo estacionado en una calle pública, callejón o estacionamiento, o en postes de utilidades es ilegal. Señales direccionales no mayores de trescientos sesenta y cuatro pulgadas cuadradas pueden colocarse en propiedad privada proporcionada a la persona llevando a cabo la venta de garaje ha obtenido el consentimiento previo por lo tanto por el propietario o el inquilino de los locales donde se coloca la señal direccional. No habrá más tardar cuatro tales señales direccionales para cualquier venta de garaje permitida en virtud de este capítulo.
5.69.110 - Violación — Pena.
A. General. Salvo disposición expresa en contrario en este capítulo, la violación de cualquier parte de este capítulo será punible como infracción.
B. Múltiples violaciones. Una persona que viola más de tres veces de la misma sección de este capítulo dentro de un año será culpable de un delito menor.
