  1. The above property is affected by the application lodged by Planning Worx on behalf of the Owner of the Property which has been published for objection on 7 March 2018.
  1. I am lodging an objection on the following grounds:

5.1 The development will result in increased traffic flow into the area, which traffic will be detrimental to the area in so far as travel is concerned and will negatively affect the environment;

5.2 The development will result in increased noise levels, increased general pollution and does not take into account the natural environment surrounding the area;

5.3 The development will degrade the natural environment and have a dire impact on the biodiversity of the area and the surrounding nature reserves including the naturally occurring wildlife, trees and sensitive biodiversity corridor;

5.4 The development will degrade the value of my property;

5.5 The Development will place unreasonable strain on the already failing municipal structure and services;

5.6 The Development will result in even further failure of basic services such as policing, hospitals and other necessities;

5.7 The Development may result in complication in regard to the pre-existing power, gas and water pipelines running through the area proposed for development and the area at large;

5.8 The Development will result in natural heritage, such as pre-existing gravesites, being destroyed;

I strongly object to the development and the rezoning of the erf on the basis that same will be of no benefit to the community or the public at large and will only negatively compromise the residents of the area.
