CITY OF CLERMONT MAY 18, 2015

The Clermont City Council met inregular session onMay 18, 2015at the Larrabee Building Room #4.

Mayor James Mattcalled the meeting to order at 7:00p.m.

Roll Call: Council membersAshby, Harris, Bishop, Wiedenhoff, and Lehmann were present.

Harrismoved, Wiedenhoffseconded, to approve the agenda. Roll Call: Motion carried5-0.

Ashbymoved, Bishopseconded, to approve theMay 4, 2015minutes, adding the Fayette Co. Engineer – Al Miller was at the meeting to discuss the 28 E Road Agreement. Roll Call: Motion carried 5-0.

Harris moved, Wiedenhoffseconded, to approve the disbursements with a correction. Roll Call: 4 Ayes, Wiedenhoff Abstained due to conflict of interest, motion carried 4-0.

Lehmann moved, Wiedenhoff seconded, to allow the City Superintendent to purchase the DeWalt tools from Norby’s Farm Fleet. Roll Call: Motion carried 5-0.

Mayor Matt declared the Public Hearing for the Budget Amendment – Fiscal Year 2014-2015 open at 7:35 p.m. There were no oral or written objections.

Ashby moved, Wiedenhoff seconded, to request bids for the garbage hauling contract as the current contract will expire in August 2015. Roll Call: Motion carried 5-0.

Harris moved, Wiedenhoff seconded, to accept the Maintenance Report. Roll Call: Motion carried 5-0.

Wiedenhoff moved, Harris seconded, to close the Public Hearing for the Budget Amendment – Fiscal Year 2014-2015 at 7:45 p.m. Roll Call: Motion carried 5-0.

Harris moved, Bishop seconded, to approve Resolution 2015-12 Budget Amendment – Fiscal Year 2014-2015. Roll Call: Motion carried 5-0.

Wiedenhoff moved, Harris seconded, to reinvest the Rural Fire CD# 36783 for 12 months at Kerndt Brothers Savings Bank. Roll Call: Motion carried 5-0.

Harris moved, Bishop seconded, to approve Resolution 2015-13 Transfer Local Option Sales Tax to the General Fund. Roll Call: Motion carried 5-0.

Wiedenhoff moved, Bishop seconded, to approve Resolution 2015-14 Transfer Special Revenue to General Fund. Roll Call: Motion carried 5-0.

Harris moved, Lehmann seconded, to approve Resolution 2015-15 Free Water/Sewer/Garbage Incentive. Roll Call: Motion carried 5-0.

Citizen Comments: Quinton Olson updated the council on the Lincoln Park Memorial.

The City Council reviewed the employee evaluations. Lehmann moved, Bishop seconded, to give the City Superintendent a fifty cent raise beginning July 1, 2015. Roll Call: Motion carried 5-0.

Lehmann moved, Harris seconded, to give the City Clerk a fifty cent raise beginning July 1, 2015. Roll Call: Motion carried 5-0.

Wiedenhoff moved, Ashby seconded, to give the City Superintendent Assistant a fifty cent raise beginning July 1, 2015. Roll Call: Motion carried 5-0.

Wiedenhoff moved, Lehmann seconded, to adjourn the meeting at 9:03 p.m. Motion carried 5-0.
