COVENANT ENFORCEMENT
A number of large storms have toppled many trees within the development. Some of these trees blocked streets, damaged homes and caused power outages.
In one such incident the Power Company couldn’t get their trucks to the downed wires. Some residents had blocked the Utility Easement with various materials. The situation was resolved when a gracious resident allowed the Power Company access through his yard.

CITIZENS’ MEETING
The next Citizens’ Meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m., July 12, 2004, at the Citizens Volunteer Fire Department in Charles Town. Please see the agenda below.
All Tuscawilla homeowners are encouraged to attend. Hope to see you there!
Covenant Enforcement
(Continued from Page 1)
Because of this incident and others, the Citizens Assoc. is starting a vigorous Covenant enforcement policy. We will make periodic inspections/ walkthroughs of all easements and common areas. Violators will receive a warning letter giving then a finite time schedule for correcting the violation.
In the advent a violator does not correct the violation, we will either remove the materials ourselves or, enforce the Covenants through the Courts. If we remove the materials ourselves we will dispose of them as we see fit.
We are in the process of transcribing the Covenants into a reproducible form. These will be given to those that request them. We expect to be finished with the project by the October meeting. Covenants and enforcement will be on July’s agenda.
Remember, ALL fences and sheds must not extend beyond their owner’s property lines.
We are also beginning a systematic project of cleaning up all Common areas and easements. This cleanup includes removing brush and small trees and putting each on the green area maintenance schedule.

REMINDER
We have had an ongoing problem with individuals posting signs on the common area, specifically yard sale and real estate signs, and not removing them. This is occurring predominately at the entrances to the community. In addition, individuals are posting political and advertisement signs in their yards, this is not permitted. No signs, billboards, or advertising devices of any kind, except those used in any subsequent sale of property, shall be placed or otherwise installed on any lot or building within the subdivision.
