1. Sinks and surrounding counters, soap dispensers, and faucets are thoroughly scrubbed and cleaned.
2. Sterile processing room and GI processing room, decontamination room, equipment room, sterile and clean storage rooms are thoroughly swept and mopped.
3. All mats are removed, cleaned under, surface cleaned and replaced after floor is dry.
4. Offices in the area are swept and mopped or vacuumed and the trash removed and liner replaced.
5. All linen hampers and trash receptacles are emptied, wiped clean and the liner replaced.
6. All floors and hallways including janitorial supply room is cleaned mopped, and spot free.
7. Specimen areas are cleaned, dusted and the trash removed.
8. Recycling containers will have contents disposed of properly when full.
9. All restrooms sinks and toilets are cleaned and sanitized. All metal surfaces and mirrors are polished.
10. All paper towel, toilet paper, hand soap, and toilet set covers will be refilled throughout the facility.
11. All GI procedure rooms will have flat surfaces, A/C return vents, fire sprinklers and spotlights wiped clean and dusted. All floor mats will be moved, floors mopped and mats returned after floor is dry.
12. Dry dust mop all laminated floors.
13. Damp mop all tile floors.
14. Clean drinking fountains and polish.
15. Sweep under portico and outside of side doors.
16. Lobby is dusted, floor cleaned, entrance metal and glass doors cleaned and polished.
