Second, I would like to thanks my classmates who suggesting me how to make a good Portfolio and to minimize the financial consume of this project. They helped me where I can encode some of my Portfolio.
Third, I would like to thanks my cousin who helped me to encode the remaining contents of my Portfolio even she is busy with her work. She tried to help me whatever she can.
Lastly, I would like to thanks our Instructor for being kind to us wherever we need him. Especially for allowing me to borrowed some examples of Portfolio. I would also thank him for correcting our mistaken words and to suggest how to make this Portfolio.
INTRODUCTION
We know that some of us wondering what Oral Communication is is. Someone may knew but most of them they don’t. Well, this type of course will help you to have a self confidence to challenge and to face this world.
The purpose of Oral Communication is not just like to have a good speaker or a good DJ in the television and radio station, and also to have a good speaker in newscaster but also to understand the things about Oral Communication and to introduce the kinds of communicating skills that you need practically and technically in professional job. Whatever skills you may have now or what you want to do so in your life. This course of Oral communication is important to you because the more you learn in Oral communication which covered in this guide, the better you become a good professional and more jobs awaits from you.
Oral Communication is one of our weapons and tools of confidence to the professional person. You must practice how to communicate well and how to deliver well your pronunciation in other people, especially those people who have higher level than you. In other vocational course like, Mechanical Technology, Information Technology, Electrical Technology and etc. requires a subject of Effective Oral Communication.
In Oral Communication you must have self confidence and have knowledge in communicating other person. You must also have a determination to face this world by not surrendering whatever obstacles and problem may come, so that in your future life you will become a good professional or a manager someday because you have these values. But some people didn’t want to be a professional and they easily surrender when problem arises. They only want an easy job and they don’t have self confidence, they easily give up and by saying to themselves “bahala na”. That’s why they never success and they’re contented of having a low position in their whole life.

SYMPOSIUM
I-INTRODUCTION
Symposium is a form of public discussion wherein two or four speakers recognized as experts in their fields prepare speeches in a sequence on an assigned phase of the topic. The purpose of this symposium is to provide the audience with information that carried from the other member of the program and also to give the audience an opportunity to consider and to evaluate the worthiness of two or more approaches to the solution of a problem that has been discuss in the program. In order to understand this symposium, you must have skills in acquiring the idea of other side and also to have a self confidence that whatever the question may ask you can answer it well and briefly.
II-EXPOSURE
In discussion question our topic is all about why is the poverty line increasing? In poverty there are many people who are lack of family income. Days, years passing by, the percentages of poverty have increase and that’s all because the government did not give attention for them.
Poverty is the economic condition in which people lack of sufficient income to obtain the certain minimal levels of health services, such as food, housing, clothing, and educational generally recognized as necessary to ensure an adequate standard of living.
Some families don’t have food to eat, and some only eat once in a day. When they were hungry they find food sometimes in the garbage and most of them are begging for food or asking money on the streets, There are children do not have grooming or proper clothes and some children stop going to school because their parents cant sustain the payments of the school. They work in the streets even if they’re too young, instead of going to school, they work or they help their parents to find and earn money for food in order to live.
III-REACTION
When we performed in the symposium program we cant fully discuss our own topic because we were just read the notes of our topic. Some of the speakers try to explain by their own words.
When we performed next time, we should prepare ourselves to any question that the audience asked. We will do our best to discuss by our own idea and answer all the possible questions.

PANEL DISCUSSION
INTRODUCTION
Panel discussion is the type of public discussion in which a group of highly informed and interest speakers (usually between 3 and 6) carry on a purposeful conversation under the direction of a chairman to explore a question or inquiry or policy with an adequate sometimes in a television talk show. Usually, each of the speakers represents a definite point of view and is committed to same solution before the discussion question.
This Panel Discussion gives the listener a better understanding of the problem under the discussion and it is not intended to arrive at a definite conclusion and it is not intended to create interest and to give preliminary information about a problem discussion.
EXPOSURE
In discussion question our topic is bases on the advantages and disadvantages of text messages and writing messages or writing letter. Which is better, the text messages or the writing letter.
Text messages are better than to write some letter in the paper because in text messages, it conserves time and effort to do so. It can send the messages quickly to the receiver. While writing a letter in the paper can improve your hand written communication but it takes a long process to send your messages. Text messages can create icons, usual and other fundable and inspiration letter. I can illustrate the different emotion of the face such as crying, sadness, lonely and even happy face and in text messages has a different ring ton which you can identify that you receive some messages.
REACTION
In Panel Discussion, we didn’t perform well in the first part of the program. We didn’t answer some possible questions the audience asked.
Next time we would prepare how to introduce the first part of the program and we would also perform well so that the audience will appreciate with us.

ORAL COMMUNICATION
We are now in the age of communication. We are bombarded by words, pictures, charts, films and commercials. Thus, there is a need for us to study and communicate what we want to say. One of those things is to study about oral communication because this is the only thing that we will know about communication skills how to communicate with professional persons.
Oral Communication have a two way process, the written communication which deals with all the communication process that involves pen and paper, machine and text and also the voice. However, oral communication deals with these dements: the body language, hand gestures, facial expression, vocal projection, mouth movements, temporal attention and postures.
In order to know about oral communication you should always put your mind that this is important thing that you must have a dynamic or willingness and interested to know about oral communication skills. You should not neglect these things because oral communication can helped you to be a professional person.
Oral Communication is not easy to understand there are values that you must follow in order to fully understand these things. There are things in oral communication that can makes you become lazy these thing such as study each word that are difficult, understand the meaning of the word and practicing how to pronounce it.
