RESOLVE Saskatchewan is now acceptingPOSTER EXHIBITIONproposals for the upcoming Research Day to be held in Regina, Saskatchewan on Thursday and Friday, October18th and 19th, 2018.
RESOLVE is a tri-provincial prairie research network that seeks solutions to violence and abuse. The network’s research mandate focuses primarily on violence involving women and girls, butconducts research on all forms of family violence.
Another of RESOLVE’s central mandates is sharing and disseminating research results. RESOLVEhosts an annual research day to showcase community programs, research, and evaluation projects that address violence and suggest preventive measures andbetter ways to intervene to assist victims and create meaningful societal change.
We are inviting community organizations, justice and/or government officials/policy makers,academics and studentsto share their program innovations and research.
Research poster topics may include:
physical, mental, spiritual and/or emotional healing;
abuse prevention programs;
abuse affecting children, families and communities;
community-basedprograms: implementation and evaluation; and
institutional healing (e.g., human rights conventions, civil/constitutional law, government policies)
We encourage topics which focus onsupporting culture, ethnicity, women, Aboriginal or immigrant communities, and families.
