Two Phase Combined Test 8 AM Start

Class #1 Walk/Trot

Maximum fence height 18”

Introductory (Walk/Trot) B

Jumps MUST be taken from the trot. Canter strides will be permitted between fences as long as the trot clearly resumes before the next fence. Cantering a fence will be counted as a refusal under stadium jumping rules.

Class #2 Elementary

Maximum fence height 2’3”

Stadium rules apply to the combined test jump courses. Stadium Jump Courses will consist of some solid obstacles. The Walk/Trot and elementary courses will be ridden in a fenced in field-on grass. The Novice course may be ridden in an open field-on grass.

Jumper Classes

Maximum of 8 fences. Clear rounds will be eligible for the timed jump off to be ridden immediately after clear round. To be ridden in grass jump field (enclosed).

General Information/Rules

*Farm Facilities include 20X60/20X40 meter outdoor dressage arena, 20X40 meter indoor dressage arena, large outdoor warm up arena, roundpen and enclosed jump field.

~~Introductory tests and the beginner novice eventing test will be ridden in 20X40 arena

*A 2009 negative coggins is required for entry onto the farm. Please send copy with entry.

*Stalls available on a first come, first serve basis. Please call for availability.

*Food available on grounds

*A horse/rider combination may only enter 1 two phase division.

*A horse/rider combination may only enter 2 consecutive dressage levels.

*If entries permit, W/T classes will be split and pinned separately-green horses, green riders.

*A horse/rider combination may enter any jumper classes

*Unless otherwise noted, USEA, USDF and USEF rules apply to respective classes.

*Tack and attire checks will be conducted in the warm-up area and before entry to the show ring.

*Formal attire is not required but ASTM certified helmets are required for ALL riders at ALL times and proper footwear is mandatory.

*This show is meant to be an inviting experience for all levels of horses and riders. The show management will do its best to accommodate multiple riders with the same horse.

*There is no inclement weather date. In the case of weather, the show will be held indoors and the management will do its best to accommodate all entries/classes. NB-in this case, the dressage arena will be 20 X 40 meters for ALL classes.

*Absolutely No dogs allowed.

*Circle Back Farm is a working facility. There will be boarders with horses not participating in the show, horses in turnout paddocks and horses on neighboring properties which may be visible from the show and warm up arenas.

*Additional liability waivers are required and will be provided upon acceptance of all entries.

*Dressage Ride Times will be available by email on October 9, 2009 after 5 pm
