TheHamiltonGirlsSoftballAssociation(HGSA)isanorganizationcommittedtopromotingthegoalsofTeamwork,SkillsDevelopment,Self-Esteem,HealthyCompetition,ParentInvolvementandFiscalResponsibilitybetweenandamongleagueparticipants.TeamManagersareexpectedtosupportthesegoalsthroughdemonstratedleadershipandinvolvementintheadministrationandmanagementoftheleagueactivitiesandthroughconstructiveinteractionwithparentsandathletes.AstheprimarycontactandsourceofinformationbetweenHGSA,itsathletesandparents,itiscriticaltothesuccessoftheleaguethatTeam ManagersactivelysupportHGSAgoals.

TOENSURECONSISTENTANDACTIVEPARTICIPATIONINSUPPORTOFTHESEGOALSASANHGSAALLSTARTEAMMANAGER,IAGREETOPERFORMANDSUPPORTTHEFOLLOWINGPRINCIPALSANDACTIVITIES:

1.BeginningnolaterthanSeptember1,2016andcontinuingthroughDecember31,2016,conductaminimumofonepracticeaweek.BeginningJanuary1,2017and,whereweatherpermitting,conductaminimum ofone(1)team practiceoutdoors,andaminimum ofone(1)team practiceindoorsaweek.

2.Participateintheactivitiesofcommittees(includespositionasleagueagentorexecutivemember). AllStar Teamwillparticipate inatleastoneHGSACommitteeforthedurationofthe2016-2017season.

3.AttendallBoardofDirectormonthlymeetings(3rdSundayofthemonthbeginninginSeptemberandendinginJune).Iagreeto ensureotherteam representationwhenIamunabletoattend.

4.AdheretoallHGSAAllStarteamguidelines,includingbutnotlimitedtouniformpolicies,Hurricanebrandingguidelines,recreationalresponsibilitiesandallstarteamfinancialproceduresasrequiredbyHGSA.

5.SupportallHGSArecreationalfundraisingandleagueadministrationbyensuringallstarparentinvolvementinleagueactivitiesincluding,butnotlimitedto,concessionstandoperations,SpringClean-upDay,team fielddutyandTagDays,PizzaKitsales,CouponCardsales,andotherfundraisers.

6.EncourageallplayerstoattendHGSArecreationalteampracticesandgames.Ensurethatallstarteammembershavecompletedtheirrecreationalleaguecomplianceinordertobeallstarrostereligible.

7.Submittobackgroundchecksandattend,alongwithcoaches,asrequired,allcoachingandfirstaidclinicssponsoredbytheleague.

8.Notifylocalmediauponcompletionofallstarteamevents.Withregardtonotification,ensurerecognitionthroughouttheseason,ofasmanydifferentallstarteamathletesaspossible.

9.Ensurecomplianceofthe HGSACodeofConductguidelinesforallteammembers,staff,parentsandspectatorsatall2017AllStarteamevents.

10.All Hurricane managers must be an actively participating coach OR manager in the HGSA recreational softball program.
