Performance Goals:

Parental Involvement
Each School shall jointly develop and distribute to parents a written parental involvement policy, agreed upon by such parents. The school parental involvement policy should describe parental involvement strategies related to the school-parent compact, capacity building, and accessibility.
Parent Involvement must include:
1. Annual meeting to inform parents of their child’s participation in the Title I, Part A, program requirements, and their right to be involved
2. Flexible number of meetings ex; morning and evening
3. Involvement in the planning, review, and improvement, of the Title I Part A program including the development of the parent involvement policy and schoolwide plan
4. Information about the Title I , Part A program, description of the curriculum, assessment used to measure progress, and opportunities to participate in their child’s education
5. Notification at the beginning of the year by the LEA that parents have a right to know
about the professional qualifications of their child’s teacher
6. Information about their child’s teachers qualifications, and timely notice that their child has been assigned to or has been taught for 4 or more consecutive weeks by a teacher who is not highly qualified.

Staff Professional Development:
