Dear Dr. Hancock,
I hope that all is going well for you since your promotion at Aqua Inspections. I have a favor to ask of you, and I would ask that you send your top inspectors. Earlier this week, we received many phone calls from customers complaining of unsanitary partials in their drinking water and a terrible stench from their shower heads, sinks, washers, and dishwashers.
Our company took it upon our selves to investigate the causes and we have discovered what we believe is the cause of these conditions. There is apparently an erroneous chemical leaking into the water system, that we are unable to identify. At this point, we believe it is in the best interest of the general public to shut off their water sources for a few hours until your inspectors can get down into the water system and check out what is causing these conditions. However, we do not want to alarm the community if in deed it is something minor.
My assistant Chris Spade will be arriving at your office this afternoon at 1pm to pick up which ever inspectors you feel are right for the job. I ask that you please send top inspectors as this could be a serious issue and there is little room for error.
I hope that we can clear up issues immediately and with out shutting off water to the entire district. Good luck and god speed.
