Thanks to the support of the Getty Foundation, CIDOC is able to offer a limited number of bursaries to museum professionals from low GDP countries in Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America, Africa, Middle East and Asia to attend the annual conference of ICOM International Committee for Documentation - CIDOC from 25 to 30 September 2017 in Tbilisi, Georgia.

(1) PROFESSIONEL QUALIFICATIONAND EXPERIENCE

Up-to-date Curriculum Vitae indicating education and training,work experience, publications and current work responsibilities(maximum of 500 words)

An ESSAY, in English (no longer than 500 words) addressing the following questions:

  • What are the most important reasons for you to participate in CIDOC 2017 in Tbilisi, Georgia?

(3) FINANCIAL ESTIMATE

NOTE:

The Getty Foundation Grant will cover conference fee, travel costs (economy fare), accommodation (6 nights) in Tbilisi.

Costs incurred in the home country, including but not limited to surface travel, accommodation, and visas, will not be covered by the grant.

In order to be eligible for the grant, you MUST indicate below the estimated travel costs from your home city to Tbilisi, Georgia.
