We are slightly behind in the Sunday collection for our fiscal year ending June 30th by $13,200.00. In these difficult economic days we trust that everyone will do the best they can to help make up our difference.
Nativity exists for the common good of all and when we put our heads and hands together, we succeed at doing God’s will and being Christ present. I hope you will be as generous as your means will allow.
Sincerely,
Fr. Paul

Next Sunday’s Outreach Collection will be going to Catholic Ministries Appeal. The Archdiocese of Cincinnati announced that the Catholic Ministries Appeal has exceeded its $5 million annual goal to feed, teach, and heal thousands of people in our area. This is the largest amount ever pledged to the annual appeal! 80 households in our parish pledged $13,045 to the effort. If you have not yet made a pledge, please take a pledge envelope from the rear of church or visit Catholic Appeal.info to make your pledge. Thank you!
Congratulations to the new members of Parish Council and Education Commission. On May 12th at the 11:00 Mass, names were randomly selected from the willing nominees for both groups. The selections of high school students to be youth members of Parish Council are Alice Hagerty and Michaela Townsend. Delivery days are Tuesday-Friday. Most routes are done in <90 minutes; Free lunch to those who deliver meals. To learn more, contact Chris Lemmon (513) 967-4765 or e-mail .
Attention Nativity Parishioners: Angela Hillebrand and Missy Minghetti are the current co-chairs for the Nativity Fall Fest Children’s area. They are looking for interested families to shadow them this year and replace them the following year. This is an exciting opportunity to grab a group of friends and make a difference. The time commitment is small and the reward is great. Missy and Angela will be leaving behind a very detailed binder with all contact information and a timeline to help keep you on task. If interested please contact .
Best Job Ever: After 7 years of chairing the Main Dinners for the Nativity Fall Fest, it is time for me to move on. The Main Dinners is THE BEST chair. You will be working inside where it is infinitely more comfortable than working out in the heat. Your total time commitment is approximately 5 hours on both Friday and Saturday nights. That’s it! I have very detailed notes which will make this shift incredibly easy. I would like to run the Main Dinners this year in “tandem” with the lucky person who takes on this chair. It really is the perfect job at the Fall Festival. Please contact Stephanie Benhase at or (513) 631-0843.
There will be a Memorial Day Mass on May 27th at 11:00 am, at Gate of Heaven Cemetery (with Military Presentation at 10:45 am.) Bishop Joseph Binzer will be presiding.
Year of Faith and the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ/Corpus Christi…
On the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, June 2, 2013 at 5:00 pm (Rome time), Pope Francis will be celebrating a Holy Hour and has asked that churches across the world celebrate in union with him. In the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, that means at 11:00 am. Since we have Mass at 11:00 am, we will have an extended half hour period of Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament immediately following that Mass.
In union with the Holy Father, Archbishop Schnurr will also be celebrating a Holy Hour at the Cathedral of St. Peter in Chains from 3:30-4:30 pm on Sunday, June 2, 2013.
FYI: The Parish Office will be closed Monday, May 27th in the observance of Memorial Day.
