Thought for the week –
Every seven days, the Church celebrates the Easter mystery. This tradition goes back to the time of the Apostles. It takes its origin from the actual day of Christ’s Resurrection. Sunday extends the celebration of Easter throughout the year. We, Christ’s faithful, when present at Mass, should not be there as strangers or silent spectators. Offering Jesus, the Immaculate Victim, not only through the hands of the priest, but also together with him, we should learn to offer ourselves.
