Client Interaction Report

1.List the questions that you asked and were asked by the clients.

。What are the feedback and response of customers (e.g. Project Manager, Client) to your current system?

。 Does your website have a database? Do you plan to build a database?

。The electronic signature function may need third party validation and may come with an amount of fee. Is it okay for you to pay for the service?

。 What is the host your website currently builds on?

。Who is client and who will get benefit from this website?

。What does micro-website means?

2. Describe the infrastructure currently utilized at the client’s organization (i.e. hardware, software, network)

The client subscribes a web host plan from Newtek Network Services( The current system is running on that web host. The software platform of the current system is Coldfusion 10 running on Windows Server (version unknown). The database used now is MS Access connected through JDBC+ODBC. The web host also supports PHP and MySQL.

3.List all (or as many as you were able to observe) the artifacts used by the system or by the users in operating the system. Provide a brief description about each artifact. For artifacts that have not been shown or given to you but have requested for, specify the planned delivery date for them.

4. Sketch the business workflows around the current system.

5. As clients may sometimes leave out critical information when proposing a project, suggest any changes that need to be made to the project description to correctly reflect the project that you are actually implementing (e.g. include technical details).

* The client wants to extend the system database to house more information of customers. Current system is using “MS Access” as database. We have to identify what kind of databases is doable to the system, and we would like to know the type of information she would like to store.

* Other company hosts the client’s current system. Also, customers use email to communicate with each other such as document revising, proposal raising, file delivering, and feedback sending. We have to obtain more information and review correctly from workflow of current system.

* The client would like to provide message board function to her customers on the current system. However, the details of the interface design and features are still need to be clarified.

* The client wants to add the mechanism of electronic signature to the current website. Because our team has less experience on this field of technique, we need to further clarify this requirement in later meeting.
Besides, electronic signaturemay involve some law problems that we need to discuss with client as well.
