Ground Space Application Package
The Chudleigh A&H Society would like to invite you to apply for ground space at the 2018 Chudleigh Show, to be held on Saturday 17th February 2018.
Please read all information carefully. All pages contained herein constitute the terms and conditions for ground space applications. Ignorance of these conditions will not be accepted as a reason for failure to comply.
Terms and Conditions
1.Applications must be received by the due date (Friday 9th February 2018). Early return
of forms guarantee your application has enough time to be processed by the Society.
Late applications may not be accepted.
2.If you require a powered site, this must be indicated on the application form.
3.Vehicles must be contained within your booked space or must be parked in the allocated
parking area at the rear of the Showground.
4.ALL FEES MUST BEE PAID PRIOR TO THE SHOW DAY.
5.Site is not guaranteed until full payment has been received.
6.Sites that are cancelled after close of business on Monday 5th February 2018, or any
failure to show will still be charged full site fees. Cancellations prior to this time will
incur an administration fee of $10.00.
7.Sites are allocated on a first come basis, with priority being given to Show sponsors
where this is part of their sponsorship package. Decisions on site allocation are final and
no discussion will be entered into.
8.Instructions from C A & H Society Committee members must be followed at all times.
9.The Chudleigh Agricultural and Horticultural Society reserves the right to refuse entry or
to ask any exhibitor to leave the Showground if they fail to heed instructions from any
member of the Committee.
10.The Chudleigh Agricultural and Horticultural Society accepts no responsibility for breakage, theft or loss of goods or equipment.
11.Any authorised member of the Committee or our appointee has the right to enter a Stall
holder's site and remove any material that may be considered offensive to the public,
exhibitors or the Society.
12.All sites to be occupied by 9.30am on Show Day and all site owners are asked not to
begin packing up prior to 3pm.
13.All sites must have and display a fire extinguisher appropriate to their application.
14.All electrical cords & leads must be tagged and tested.
15.All food service stalls are subject to Committee approval in order to assess the impact on
Society run catering services. A decision will be given as soon as possible after
application has been received.
16.All stall holders must comply at all times with Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
